Job Description

Job Summary:

Custom metal shop needing a welder fabricator for work involving custom steel and aluminum gates, fences, railings, stairs, canopies, and more. Full time opportunity for immediate hiring. Must have experience in metal fabrication using various tools and welding processes.

Duties:

- Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings

- Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy

- Cut, shape, and bend metal using various tools and equipment

- Weld or join metal components using appropriate techniques

- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

- Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and dimensions

- Operate cranes or other lifting equipment when necessary

Skills:

- Sheet metal fabrication,Micrometer and caliper usage, Ductwork assembly, Blueprint reading, Welding techniques, Crane operation, Basic math calculations, Mechanical knowledge, Interpretation of schematics
