Job Description
Are you an experienced CNC Technician looking for a new opportunity? We need a skilled professional to join our team immediately for the 1st shift (6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday). This is a temp-to-perm position with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. We're looking to make a decision quickly, so apply today!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate numerical controlled machines to machine plastic and metal workpieces to specifications.
Interpret complicated drawings, instructions, programs, and process sheets.
Perform diversified operations on numerical controlled machines.
Conduct a variety of related operations to close and interrelated tolerances.
Review setup sheets and specifications to determine the sequence and dimensions of finished workpieces.
Attach fixtures to machines according to setup instructions.
Manipulate controls to start machines and observe operations to detect malfunctions.
Perform inspection and gauging operations to ensure maintenance of quality standards and specifications.
Measure workpieces for conformance to specifications.
Notify supervisors of discrepancies and adjust machines according to specifications.
Clean machine parts and perform machine maintenance.
Requirements:
Previous CNC router experience is required. Experience with Onsrud and/or Multicam routers is a huge plus! Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
