Job Description
LaborMax Staffing is looking for experienced housekeepers for a very busy hotel at Jacksonville Beach. Due to continued growth we are currently seeking self-motivated and outgoing candidates to serve as a Hotel Housekeeper. Work schedules will vary with start times at 8:30am & 10am offering full time and part time work. Work hours can vary depending on occupancy, check outs and stay overs but they normally work a full 8 hour day and you will need to be available every day of the week. Rotating weekend schedules can be offered but Sunday's are their heaviest check out day so you will be working most Sunday's.
The main responsibilities of the Housekeeper:
• Clean guest rooms and public spaces each day as well as assist guests and visitors ass needed. 30 minute turnover time is expected for check outs.
• Strip and make beds per standard of hotel.
• Clean, wash, polish, sanitize, deodorize and disinfect all areas and items in the facility including furnishings, fixtures, ashtrays, trash bins, windows, mirrors, floors, carpets, walls, ceilings, bathrooms, etc., using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions and procedures.
• Ensure that work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner, clearly marked with caution or safety signs as required.
• Ensure that work areas are free of all hazardous objects and that all equipment, tools, chemicals and supplies are properly stored and secured at all times.
• Stock housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Dress Code: All Black Scrubs with black non slip shoes
• A background screen will be conducted to be considered for this job.
